Enrico Lain is an architect and planner. In 1999, he graduated with honours in architectural design from IUAV University in Venice. He then obtained a PhD in architectural composition in 2003. In 2013, he founded the architecture studio in Padua Blu143.

Lain has been blogging about architecture for more than a decade. Through his ideas and reflections, he writes about the world of architecture and urban design planning.
He needed to have a blog that was simple and well-structured so that it could contain all the posts he has published over the years.
The choice of the colour blue comes from the name of his studio “Blu143”.
